New safety alerts have been issued about over-the-counter medicines and air bags, including a "do not drive" warning from one automaker.

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A new safety alert has been issued about over-the-counter medicines sold at one popular chain store, one carmaker has issued a “do not drive” warning, and another carmaker has issued a recall due to a similar problem.
The following recalls were reported:
- Recall issued for Advil sold at Family Dollar
- BMW: Don’t drive older models with Takata air bag inflators
- Ford recalls some vehicles for air bag inflator installation
