Second winning Powerball ticket worth $100K sold in Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Another winning Powerball ticket worth $100,000 has been sold in Baton Rouge, according to Louisiana Lottery officials.
The latest ticket was sold at the Circle K on Plank Road ahead of the drawing on Wednesday, Feb. 1.
Lottery officials announced the news on social media.

A week prior, the first winning ticket was sold at the Circle K store on Bluebonnet Boulevard ahead of the drawing on Wednesday, Jan. 25.

Louisiana Lottery officials said the first prize was claimed. There is no word yet on if the most recent winning ticket has been claimed.
Around six months ago, the Circle K store on Plank Road sold another prize-winning ticket. The convenience store sold a winning Pick 5 ticket worth $50,000 to a Port Allen woman ahead of the drawing on July 26, 2022, according to lottery officials.
