Nice weather continues, but won’t last through weekend
BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - After another beautiful weather day, Baton Rouge will cool down to the lower 40s overnight under mainly clear skies.

We’ll close out the work week tomorrow with another Chamber of Commerce day under mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 60s to near 70.
A cold front is on the way for the weekend. Saturday, we’ll be ahead of the front, which will mean warm and dry conditions with highs in the mid-70s with increasing clouds. Sunday looks soggy with a 60% chance of showers and storms, with highs in the upper 60s.

There is no threat of severe weather at this time and rain amounts will be manageable. In the extended forecast, we’ll see lingering showers on Monday, then trending drier. There are no freezes in the ten-day forecast.
