BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The Baton Rouge Fire Department said it is investigating arson after a vacant house was intentionally set on fire on Tuesday, Nov.15.

According to officials, it happened on North Acadian Thruway West a couple of blocks south of Gus Young Avenue just before 6 p.m.

A spokesman for BRFD said some responding crews worked to protect neighboring homes from the flames while other crews entered the house to put out the fire.
