BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A woman was killed and nine others injured following a crash involving a school bus on Wednesday, Oct. 26, according to officials.

Police identified the woman killed in the crash as Cindy Anderson, 50.

The crash happened in the area of Florida Boulevard near Wooddale Boulevard just after 6:30 a.m.

According to BRPD, Anderson was driving a 2018 Toyota Camry and ran a stop sign on Fernwood Drive. Investigators said the car crashed into the side of an East Baton Rouge school bus that was traveling westbound on Florida Boulevard, causing the bus to roll onto its side.
