The man accused of shooting Young, who has not been identified, reportedly told detectives that Young had verbally threatened to shoot him, retrieved a gun, and returned to his car.

The surveillance footage shows Young arguing with a man seated in a white four-door sedan. Young appears to open the driver’s door of a dark blue sedan, and then continue the argument with the man. Young, appearing to hold an object in his hand, approaches the vehicle, and the man in the white sedan shoots toward him.
