BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting that occurred around 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 9 in the parking lot of 2180 Lobdell Ave., according to officials.

Dion Williams, 14, died at a local hospital from gunshot wounds he suffered during the shooting, said a BRPD spokesperson.

The investigation remains ongoing.
