BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - House lawmakers moved forward with a push to expand the medical marijuana program in Louisiana.

Some patients already qualify to use non-smokable forms of the drug but House Bill 391, which was approved Monday, May 3, changes that and allows patients to use raw, smokable forms of marijuana.

The bill next heads to the full Senate.
