U-High wins back-to-back Div. III girls’ soccer championships

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The U-High girls’ soccer team repeated as Division III champions at Strawberry Stadium in Hammond on Thursday, Feb. 25.

U-High girls' soccer wins Div. III state title

The No. 2 Lady Cubs took down No. 1 Loyola Prep out of Shreveport, 4-3, on penalty kicks after regulation and overtime both ended 0-0.

Keeper Olivia Schwehm was named the game’s most outstanding player.

It is U-High’s third division state title in four years.
