BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Another cold day in South Louisiana. For the homeless, this can be a challenging time. St. Vincent de Paul is a resource for the homeless community.
Securing a safe, warm place to sleep is not an extensive process, according to President and CEO of St. Vincent de Paul Michael Acaldo.
Acaldo says if you know someone in need all they have to do is visit 1620 Convention Street to submit an application. Acaldo says applications must be submitted by 2 p.m.
The organization is also looking for donations like knit caps, scarves, gloves, ponchos, rain caps and towels.
