BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - LSU football has done a nice job lately re-recruiting its roster to making sure veteran players return. Senior defensive end Andre Anthony announced via Twitter that he would be returning for another season in Baton Rouge.
The 6-foot-3 defensive end from New Orleans is the Tigers top pass rusher and played in eight games for the Tigers with 24 total tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, and 5.5 sacks. Anthony led the team in sacks.
The senior defensive end is the latest player to announce his return to the Tigers joining Ed Ingram, Chasen Hines, Neil Farrell, Ali Gaye, and Liam Shanahan.
