DENHAM SPRINGS, La. (WAFB) - Officials with the Denham Springs Police Department (DSPD) say a former Denham Springs High School football coach turned himself into officers Monday, Dec. 28.
A spokesperson says DSPD issued warrants for Tyler Love, 30, of Greenwell Springs, after officers began investigating allegations of misconduct involving Love and a student at the school.
Love resigned from the school on Dec. 3, according to the Livingston Parish School System.
“Due to the sensitivity of the matter, further details will not be released,” the spokesperson said.
Love was booked into the Livingston Parish Jail on two counts of indecent behavior with juveniles and one count of prohibited sexual conduct between educator and student. He has since bonded out, according to DSPD.
