Residents of St. Francisville elect town’s first new mayor in 36 years

ST. FRANCISVILLE, La. (WAFB) - The West Feliciana Parish town of St. Francisville has a new mayor for the first time in 36 years.

Republican Robert Leake defeated Independent Susie Tully by winning 467 votes out of 823 votes or 57% of the vote.

Leake replaces William “Billy” D’Aquilla who was elected as mayor of St. Francisville in 1984.
