Central asst. police chief resigns after cyberstalking, harassment arrest

CENTRAL, La. (WAFB) - Former assistant police chief in Central, Darren Sibley, has resigned, police say.

Sibley was placed on leave in August after an alleged off-duty domestic violence incident.

On Oct. 9, Sibley was arrested on a cyberstalking and harassment warrant out of Lawrence County, Mississippi.

Sibley resigned on Oct. 16, according to Chief Roger Corcoran.
