BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Officials with the Baton Rouge Police Department say they have arrested two people in connection with a fatal shooting of a Baton Rouge man.

Investigators say Anthony Marshall, 39, was found suffering from an apparent gunshot wound around 4:30 p.m. in the 4100 block of North Foster Drive. Marshall was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries

Police say they arrested Gerald Williams, 22, of Maringouin, and Breanna Douglas, 23, of Baton Rouge, with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Service in connection with Marshalls' death Wednesday, Oct. 21.

Both Willaims and Douglas were booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison. Williams was charged with first-degree murder and assault by drive-by shooting.

Douglas was charged with principal to first-degree murder and principal to assault by drive-by shooting.
