BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The McKinley Panthers football program is shutting down summer workouts for 10 days after a player new to the team tested positive for COVID-19.

The student-athlete joined the Panthers for workouts for the first time last week.

The positive test was revealed on social media by the student’s mother.
