50 storage units destroyed by Tuesday morning fire

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A storage facility in Baton Rouge was engulfed by fire Tuesday morning.

Baton Rouge firefighters responded to Life Storage at 4455 Harding Blvd. near Plank Road just before 8 a.m. on March 31.

First responders were forced to break into storage units to contain the blaze.

A spokesperson for BRFD says out of 200 units at the facility, at least 50 were damaged.
