BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Four people have died after police say a speeding car crashed into a house.
Police say the crash happened around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25 on Progress Road.
Investigators believe a 1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue was speeding down Progress Road when the driver lost control. The car struck a tree and a chain-link fence before colliding into a house.
Destiny Nelson, 22, the front seat passenger of the Oldsmobile, died at the scene. Patrick Dunn, 56, was inside the house at the time of the crash and also died at the scene.
The driver of the Oldsmobile, Jamarcus Harris, 28, and Jamarcus Brown Jr., 3, were transported to a hospital, where they both died.
