No. 5 LSU takes down No. 14 Arkansas in SEC finale

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The No. 5 LSU gymnastics team got past No. 14 Arkansas in the PMAC on Friday, Feb. 28 in front of more than 12,000 fans for the final SEC regular-season meet of 2020.

The Tigers (11-2, 5-2 SEC) topped the Razorbacks (2-6, 2-4 SEC), 197.125-195.725.

Senior Kennedi Edney won the all-around with a 39.550. Ruby Harrold was tops on vault with a 9.875. Kiya Johnson won bars with a 9.950. Reagan Campbell took the beam title with a 9.975.

This was LSU’s fourth-straight 197-plus team score.

LSU owns the series against the Razorbacks, 37-5-1, with a record of 25-4-1 in the regular season. The squad is 8-1 against the Razorbacks in the PMAC and has won 18 straight in the series.
