Burrow autograph signing changed to private event
BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The autograph signing event with former LSU quarterback Joe Burrow, the winner of the Heisman Trophy and MVP of the College Football Playoff National Championship, that was supposed to be held in April will still occur but with some major changes.
Organizers said the event has been changed from a public signing to a three-day private signing with Burrow courtesy of Fanatics. The private autograph signing will take place in his home state of Ohio in mid-June but the exact dates have not yet been determined.
The Sports Collectibles team said it is in the process of contacting everyone who previously ordered tickets for special offers or refunds. Sports Collectibles added it will get to everyone but ask for patience from people.
Mail-in items are still being accepted and MUST be in by June 10, according to Sports Collectibles. The team also said there will be a finished product signed by Burrow for both preorder and available on a limited supply after the signing.
Times and dates for the autograph signings with Justin Jefferson, Clyde Edwards-Helaire, and Grant Delpit are still to be determined.
The autograph signing was initially scheduled to be held at the Mall of Louisiana on Saturday, April 4.
