BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Many athletes across south Louisiana signed their letters of intent with colleges and universities for National Signing Day on Feb. 5, 2020.

Catholic High’s Joseph Alexander, an offensive lineman, has signed with Harvard. Catholic defensive lineman Connor Finucane has signed with Army. Catholic athlete Brian Hibbard has signed with Rice. Hayden Shaheen, a linebacker from Catholic High, has signed with Nicholls. Catholic running back Josh Parker, a Warrick Dunn Award finalist, has signed with McNeese. Christopher Daigre, a defensive back from Scotlandville, has signed with Alcorn. Scotlandville defensive end Jonathan Horton has signed with Virginia. Scotlandville wide receiver Donald Jones has signed with New Mexico. Scotlandville athlete Sylvester Boulingy has signed with Belhaven. Deondre Bell, a defensive end from Scotlandville, has signed with Holmes Community College. Scotlandville offensive lineman Martrell Thomas has signed with Morgan State. Spence Thomas, also an offensive lineman from Scotlandville, decided to stay home and signed with Southern.

St. James quarterback Shamar Smith, the winner of the Warrick Dunn Award as the Sportsline Player of the Year, and defensive tackle DeAndre Keller have signed with Nicholls. St. James linebacker Lamon Lewis and safety Tyler Steib signed as preferred walk-ons for the Colonels. St. James running back Sean LeBeouf has signed with Navy. St. James wide receiver Logan Gravois will walk-on for the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns. Ascension Catholic running back Jai Williams, another Warrick Dunn Award finalist, has signed with Nicholls.

East St. John offensive lineman Jakobi Anderson signed with Mississippi Delta Community College. Amari Bernard, a defensive back from East St. John, signed with Southern Arkansas. ESJ wide receiver Dontae Fleming signed with the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns. Offensive lineman Jeremiah Harry of East St. John has signed with McPherson College. Howard Joseph, a defensive back from East St. John, has signed with Nicholls. ESJ defensive back Antonio Sanders has signed with Louisiana College. Shaun Sterling, a defensive back from “The E,” has signed with Glenville State College.

Amite running back Corey McKnight has signed with Hutchinson Community College in Kansas. Tara defensive lineman Terry Delaney III is staying home after signing with Southeastern. Marquise McKnight, a kicker/punter at Madison Prep Academy, has signed with Grambling. Mason Narcisse, a defensive lineman from St. Charles Catholic, has signed with the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns. Ascension Catholic defensive tackle Nick Hilliard has signed with Princeton.

Denham Springs linebacker Tristan Duhe has signed with Mississippi College, while defensive end Kaydon Berard signed with Delta State. Javon Carter, a defensive end from East Ascension, has signed with Grambling. Woodlawn wide receiver Caleb Blanchard has signed with Arkansas-Monticello. Amite linebacker Kevin Bickham has signed with Southeastern. Riyan Cotton, a linebacker from Central, has signed with Grambling.

Live Oak kicker/punter Colburn Crenshaw has signed with Arkansas-Monticello. Reginal “Tonk” Johnson, a wide receiver from Southern Lab, has signed with the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns. Offensive lineman Evan Roussel from St. Charles Catholic has signed with Nicholls. Oak Grove defensive tackle Kenean Caldwell has signed with Kansas. Alven Johnson, a defensive end from Thrive Academy in Baton Rouge, has signed with UNLV.
