One dead after Amarillo Street shooting; suspect arrested

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A man was arrested after a fatal shooting on Sunday, Jan. 12.

According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, Deunta Brown, 19, shot and killed Dynovan Johnson around 3:10 p.m. in the 3600 block of Amarillo Street.

Johnson was transported to a hospital where he later died.

Brown was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on one count of second-degree murder.
