WALKER, La. (WAFB) - A Texas man is dead after a crash in Walker Wednesday.

Louisiana State Police says just before noon on Wednesday, Nov. 13, troopers responded to a two-vehicle wreck on LA 447 north of Corbin Avenue in Livingston Parish. The wreck claimed the life of Logan Imbornone, 23, of Austin.

LSP’s initial investigation shows the wreck happened as Imbornone was driving north on LA 447 in a 2005 Honda Accord, while at the same time, a 2019 Chevy Silverado was headed south, when for reasons still under investigation, Imbornone crossed the center line and hit the pickup truck.

Police say Imbornone was not wearing his seat belt and was partially ejected from the car. He suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of the pickup truck was properly restrained and suffered moderate injuries. That driver was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

It’s unknown if impairment played a role in this fatal wreck, but toxicology samples were taken from both drivers for analysis.

The wreck remains under investigation.
