RECALL: ALOCANE® Emergency Burn Pads

RECALL ALERT: Alocane Emergency Burn Pads With Lidocaine

(WAFB) - Quest Products has issued a recall for ALOCANE Emergency Burn Pads due to its failure to meet child-resistant closure requirements.

The packaging is not child-resistant as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act.

The pads contain lidocaine, posing a risk of poisoning to young children if they were to place the pad in their mouths.

This recall involves the ALOCANE® Emergency Burn Pads (10 count and 15 count) which come in a white and red box with “MAXIMUM STRENGTH ALOCANE® Emergency Burn Pads” printed on the front.

The product is an over the counter Gel Infused Pad with lidocaine (4%) as the active ingredient.
