BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Election Day is just a few weeks away, but it’s not too late to register to vote.

Geaux Vote is hosting a voter registration event today on LSU’s campus. The group will be set up in Free Speech Plaza from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Organizers will provide food, giveaways, games, music and appearances by local politicians and candidates. There will be a second registration station near Middleton Library.

At both locations, members will have computers available for students to register through TurboVote, an online voter registration program that sends election updates and reminders.

After registering 600 people a year ago, Geaux Vote LSU hopes to register 750 people at this upcoming event.

If you don’t know where your polling location is you can download the ‘Geaux Vote’ app.

Early voting begins on Sept. 28. For polling locations in East Baton Rouge Parish, click here.

Election Day is Oct. 12.
