BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Cyclists hit the streets Monday afternoon as students head back to school for the 2019-20 school year.

A community bike ride was held to encourage kids to keep safety in mind as the roads get more crowded. The group took off from the Charles R. Kelly Community Center and rode to Howell Park and back again.

Once they got back, there was a free school supply giveaway.
