BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Barry made landfall in Louisiana Saturday, July 13 as a Category 1 hurricane and was quickly downgraded to a tropical storm, according to the National Hurricane Center (NHC).

  • I-55 Service Road (Old US 51 Low Road) is closed due to high water, from mile marker 1 (near the US 51 on ramp to I-55 north), to mile marker 8 (near the I-55 north off ramp to Ruddock). Detour: I-55 High Rise.
