House torched twice in one week; arson suspected
Officials believe the same house was burned days before.

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Firefighters battled flames at a vacant house for the second time in a week, according to a spokesperson for the Baton Rouge Fire Department.

On Thursday, May 16, around 4:45 a.m., a house at 425 W. Johnson Street caught fire. Investigators believe arson was the cause.

Firefighters arrived on scene to find the house fully engulfed in flames. The house is a total loss.

BRFD says the same house caught fire around the same time Monday morning, as well.
