‘I’ll hit her again’: Patient attacks hospital employee

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - One man is facing battery charges after attacking a registered medical professional at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge.

According to arrest reports, Nicholas Guaraggi, a patient at OLOL, struck the victim in the face. After being read his rights, Guaraggi told police he "hit her to get out of this place and if he doesn't get out he will hit her again."

The victim suffered whiplash and, under concussion protocol, was treated for neck injuries and will be further evaluated.

Guaraggi was charged with battery of emergency room personnel and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
