(WAVE) - Crews are searching for a second straight day for a missing toddler in eastern Kentucky.

Kenneth Howard, just 22 months old, was last seen Sunday night.

Hazard, Ky., TV station WYMT reported Tuesday that the boy’s father, Elden Howard, is offering a $5,000 reward for anyone who brings back his son.

“I would just like to see him come home safe,” Howard told WYMT. “I guess it’s adrenaline. I can’t rest, can’t eat. I’ve ate one bologna sandwich since Sunday.”

Crews searched all over Magoffin County on Monday before halting their efforts at night. Helicopters, thermal-camera equipped drones, K9 search teams, off-road vehicles, and others searched on foot. Howard told WYMT he was moved by the number of people who came to help.

The search resumed Tuesday at about noon, WYMT reported.
