BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - It’s a very active FIRST ALERT Doppler radar – A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for our viewing area and now has been *extended* until Saturday morning.

In addition, the Storm Prediction Center still has SE LA and SW MS under a “low-end” (marginal) risk for more severe weather today! Please be careful driving – low lying areas will continue to flood very quickly; our high today topping out in the lower 80°s.

Overnight, we’re looking at a 60% coverage of showers and storms, a low of 70° – tomorrow, a “marginal risk” for severe weather ; a 90% coverage of rain/storms, a high of 81°; and, there’s still the potential for severe weather.
