Citizens evacuated from Zachary neighborhood due to high water

ZACHARY, LA (WAFB) - Firefighters evacuated residents in an area of Zachary because of high water Friday.
According to the Zachary Fire Department, crews assisted residents in the Barnett Road area. Firefighters were also working a call about lightning that struck a house in the Copper Mill area.
Officials advise drivers to be cautious on the road.
