NEW ORLEANS, LA (WAFB) - An international professional services firm is hiring for 200 new positions at its office in New Orleans, according to Louisiana Economic Development.
Gov. John Bel Edwards and Ernst & Young LLP (EY) made the announcement on Monday.
The majority of the jobs are part of a new National Executive Assistance Team (NEAT) in New Orleans, with the remaining jobs dedicated to the firm’s risk services functions.
EY will expand its office space, located in the Hancock Whitney Center, to 41,000 square feet. The space was formerly One Shell Square, EY is occupying an additional floor of the office tower to house its NEAT center.
The firm renovated its existing office space in the past year in concert with the EY at Work initiative, which focuses on contemporary office design, and collaborative workspace to enhance teamwork and productivity.
