BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - St. Vicent de Paul got a big donation of three vans Thursday.
The keys were handed over at Price LeBlanc Toyota. St. Vincent de Paul plans to use the vans to transport homeless women who need a ride to the Louisiana Workforce Commission or to take homeless children to appointments.
“We know with St. Vincent de Paul, they get out there and they find those who are really in need and we like giving back to those in need and we’re proud to be a part of it," said Brent LeBlanc of Price LeBlanc Toyota.
"We’re going to do things that give a hand up to put people in a position to be self sufficient. That’s what St. Vincent de Paul is all about,” said Michael Acaldo, director of St. Vincent de Paul.
