BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - It’s that time of year again! The Spanish Town Mardi Gras parade will be rolling through downtown Baton Rouge on Saturday, March 2 at noon, but, as is tradition, the flamingos made their yearly appearance at the LSU lakes Monday morning.
Kayakers hopped into City Park Lake off of Dalrymple Drive and E. Lakeshore Drive to pluck the wooden pink decorations for themselves.
