Pair accused of robbing pizza delivery driver at gunpoint

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Two men are behind bars after a pizza delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint Thursday afternoon.

Police arrested Demarcus Leduff, 18, and Jarnel Marshall, 21, both of Baton Rouge.

According to the probable cause report, the armed robbery happened on Harco Drive a little before 1 p.m.

The Baton Rouge Police Department reported Leduff and Marshall were wearing masks when one of them jumped in the delivery driver’s car and drove off.

Investigators said another suspect pointed a gun at the driver and demanded his wallet and cellphone.

According to the PC, the victim’s car was found in the parking lot of an apartment complex on La Margie Avenue.

Leduff and Marshall were found at a home near the crime scene a short time later and taken into custody.

Both men are charged with armed robbery. Bond has not been set.
