No. 5 LSU gymnastics returns to the PMAC to take on No. 30 NC State

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The No.5 LSU gymnastics team is back home at the Maravich Center to take on No. 30 NC State on Friday night.

Introductions are set to start at 7:10 p.m. and the first vault is set to get started at 7:35 p.m. The Tigers and the Wolf Pack will compete on SECNetwork+ through and the app. Lyn Rollins and Kaleigh Abboud will have the call. Fans attending the meet are urged to arrive early and purchase tickets in advance before heading to the PMAC.

“This is a really good opportunity to build off of our meet last week,” said head coach D-D Breaux. “Getting back in the PMAC is always exciting and we know there will be a great crowd to cheer us on. We want to go in there and execute and hit like we know we are capable of.”

Sarah Finnegan, the reigning SEC Gymnast of the Year, and Kennedi Edney are one of the best all-around duos in the country. LSU is one of two teams in the country that have two gymnasts who have competed in every meet ranked in the top-15 of the all-around. Finnegan and Edney are coming off all-around wins at Alabama and Finnegan has won the all-around in every meet in 2019.
