Landfill catches fire in St. Mary Parish; no threat

BERWICK, LA (WAFB) - The St. Mary Parish Landfill is on fire.
The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the landfill is located on Landfill Lane in Berwick.
SMPSO added the Berwick Fire Department is on the scene and has the fire under control.
According to authorities, the fire does not pose a threat to the public.
