BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - As the Super Bowl approaches, Saints fans are still finding it hard to move past the devastating “no-call” in the NFC Championship game against the Los Angeles Rams.
They've been told by other football fans and national commentators to "get over it." Easier said than done for the diehard Who Dats.
Many would argue it cost the black and gold a trip to the biggest game of the year.
It's been an emotional week for all Saints fans...and no doubt an emotional week...for quarterback, Drew Brees.
Brees recently posted a letter to the fans on Instagram, explaining how *he hopes they will channel the disappointment and frustration.
He said in part..."Pour that passion and emotion into your families and communities. Inspire others with your focus and determination and positive outlook."
Brees closes by praising the community and asking that fans embrace the challenge.
If he can do it? Why can't we?
That's Our Turn, now it's yours.
