NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Freshman star Naz Reid scored 27 points on 10-of-12 shooting to help lift LSU over Arkansas in overtime, 94-88. Reid was two points off his career-high total with the Tigers, and he hit 4-of-4 from three-point land.
LSU put to an end a nine-game road losing streak with the win in Fayetteville. The Tigers are now 12-3 and 2-0 in the SEC.
Guard Marlon Taylor racked up a career-high 21 points on 7-of-8 field goals, to go along with 7 rebounds. Tremont Waters finished with 17 points and 11 assists.
LSU’s next game is on the road against Ole Miss on Tuesday night.
