NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The Eagles and Saints will meet again, this time a spot in the NFC championship game will be on the line. The Saints beat the Eagles in week 11 of the regular season, 48-7. Philadelphia is 6-1 since losing to the Black and Gold.

Philadelphia advanced in the playoffs after beating the Bears on the road. Chicago kicker Cody Parkey missed a field goal at the end of the contest, giving the Eagles a victory, 16-15.

“I’m just overwhelmed. That’s a good football team," said Eagles head coach Doug Pederson. “Matt Nagy did a great job this season, my hats off to him, and that Chicago Bear team. It’s a tremendous football team. Quite frankly, for us to come in here and hang for 60 minutes. We knew it was going to be that type of football game. We hung in there. It wasn’t pretty at times. We made the plays when we needed to. My hats off to our guys and our coaches.”

Carson Wentz was under center against the Saints in the first matchup, throwing for three interceptions in the Dome. This time around, Nick Foles will be QB1. Foles won the Super Bowl MVP last season after the Eagles beat the Patriots in Super Bowl 52.

The Saints and Eagles will kick things off at 3:40 p.m. on FOX 8.
