Eagles expect ‘loud, great atmosphere’ in the Dome Sunday
The New Orleans Saints host the defending Super Bowl champ Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday.

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The Saints week 11 beatdown of the Eagles by the score of 48-7 was no doubt impressive, but a lot of things have changed since that November afternoon. The most glaring adjustment for Philly, the change at quarterback. Carson Wentz is gone due to injury, Nick Foles is now under center. Since taking over the offense, Foles and the Eagles are 4-0.

“I think there’s a handful of things. Situationally, they’re playing well. They’re playing well in the red zone, defensively and offensively. I think they’re obviously a different team than we faced earlier in the year,” said Saints head coach Sean Payton.

“A different quarterback is playing right now. I think there is a confidence you see. The one on the road was a big one for them in L.A. You just go through the games, and you go through the win streak, and you have Houston next, at Washington, at Chicago. They’ve kind of been in a playoff role really going back to those games needing to win to get in. So it’s impressive.”

Yes, the Eagles are red-hot, but they know coming to New Orleans and escaping with a "W" is tough proposition.

“It wasn’t very good the first time. We’ll take a look at that film. We’ll take a look at this one. I think we’re a different football team now, then we were then. We just got to put a good plan together in all three phases. Go back down there, we’re on the road, it’s in the Dome, it’s going to be loud again. All those things, it’s going to be a great atmosphere,” said Eagles Head Coach Doug Pederson.
