Baton Rouge eye surgeon recognized in national magazine for surgical developments

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A Baton Rouge eye surgeon is in the spotlight after making the list of top surgical videos in the nation posted in 2018 on the ophthalmic surgical video site, Eyetube.

Dr. Blake Williamson, of Williamson Eye Center was featured in the prestigious Cataract and Refractive Surgery Today magazine.

“It is a great honor to be included in this list among many of the leaders in ophthalmology. Our goal in sharing our expertise is always to provide better care for patients,” said Dr. Blake Williamson.

Dr. Williamson’s video entitled, iStent Inject with Laser Cataract Surgery and ORA-Guided Toric IOL Implantation, will be used by ophthalmologists and industry members across the world to provide more advanced care to patients with Glaucoma and Cataracts.
