INDIANA (WFIE) - The Indiana State Department of Health is now reporting its first flu-related death of the season.

Health officials didn’t say where the death happened, but did say the victim was 65 or older.

The health commissioner says this is early in the season for a flu death, but says the virus can come at any time.

The CDC recommends everyone 6 moths or older to get a flu shot.
