Hello! I'm Supriya Jindal, wife of Governor Bobby Jindal.

As the holiday season shifts into full swing, families across Louisiana are coming together to celebrate the spirit of the holiday season. While the season brings with it the sights, sounds, and smells of holiday cheer, it's important to remember there are families across Louisiana that remain in need.

That's where the Salvation Army comes in. The Salvation Army is one of the largest charitable and service organizations in the world and contributes immensely to helping those in need. Through the Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program, more than 5,000 children will receive the joy of Christmas this year. Hurricanes Gustav and Ike created a great need within our communities and across our state, and more and more families this season will depend on the support of the Salvation Army.

For more than 120 years, Americans have entrusted the Salvation Army with their donations and your support of the Salvation Army is critical for providing help to Louisianians that need it most. Help light up a child's face this Christmas season and give what you can to the Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program.

I'm Supriya Jindal, and Bobby and I would like to wish you and yours a very happy holiday season.
