Painesville, OH - A woman has been given an unusual sentence for stealing from a church collection plate.
Painesville municipal court judge Michael Cicconetti ordered Anna Marie Cothrum to use coins, and spell out with pennies "I stole from this church".
Cothrum will be outside Central Congregatiional Church in Madison on Sunday September 7th before the 10 am service.
The judge wants all the congregation to see her apology.
Cothrum will also serve 10 days in jail and be on probation for eight months.
