Watermelon Barbecue Sauce
Yields 2 cups
1/4 cup butter
1 medium onion, diced
1/2 cup brow sugar
1 cup diced seeded watermelon
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon hot sauce
salt and pepper to taste
Melt butter in small saucepan over medium heat; add onion, and saute 4 to 5 minutes or until tender. Stir in brown sugar, watermelon, ketchup, honey, lemon juice, worcestershire sauce and remaining ingredients, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, 5 minutes. Season with hot sauce, salt and pepper to taste.
