Caprese Salad from D'Agastino's

INGREDIENTS

Creole tomato
fresh buffalo mozzarella
extra virgin olive oil
balsamic vinegar
fresh basil
sea salt
romaine lettuce (optional)

PROCEDURE

  • Slice the tomato and fresh mozzarella about 1/2 inch in thickness.
  • Arrange them, alternating each one on a bed of lettuce
  • Sprinkle sea salt, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar
  • Arrange the fresh basil and serve
