New information today in the murder investigation of Pam Kinamore. The East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Department has released pictures of the type of truck a motorist says he saw on Interstate-10 July 13th, the same night Kinamore was abducted. In addition to providing a description of the truck, the motorist said he saw the body of a white female in the cab of the truck. WAFB's Shauna Sanford tells us the sheriff's department says it believes that woman was in fact Pam Kinamore.
The sheriff's department described the truck as a 1996-1997 Chevrolet truck bearing a Louisiana license plate. It has an aging white surface paint and a full size bed. The truck is single cab and does not have a tool box. The truck also has a smooth tail gate, tinted rear window, two headlights side by side, and an inside cab light at the top and center of rear window.
According to Colonel Mike Barnett at this afternoon's news conference, the motorist says the truck was traveling west bound on Interstate-10 and he says he saw the truck exit at Whiskey Bay exit, the exact place where Kinamore's nude body was found. The driver of the vehicle has been described as a white male, thin to medium build.
