Overview

Pam Kinamore's murder now becomes the 31st unsolved case of a murdered woman in East Baton Rouge Parish.

Two-thirds all of the cases fall to Baton Rouge city police. Ten of the murders happened in the mid-city area of Baton Rouge, with another 8 happening south of interstate 10. Two are in Zachary.

The murders cross racial and economic lines ranging from prostitutes to prosperous business owners. So far, only two have been linked to the same killer Charlotte Murray Pace and Gina Wilson Green. Both lived on Stanford Avenue near the LSU Lakes.

These cases, especially the recent murders, have become the talk of the town leaving many residents, particularly women, scared. That's partly why local law enforcement officials have called a news conference for tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. to talk about the unsolved murders and what is happening with those cases. You can watch that news conference live on WAFB and Cox Cable Channel 9 tomorrow morning.
